The Meigs County Health Department is seeking a qualified candidate for the full-time position of Environmental Health Specialist (REHS) or Specialist in Training (REHSIT). At a minimum, applicants must eligible to register as a REHSIT which requires a Bachelor’s Degree with at least forty-five quarter hours or thirty semester hours of science courses.
Primary duties include inspections and evaluations in the Food Safety program. A complete job description can be found below. Applicant must be a motivated individual with excellent verbal and written communication skills. All candidates must have a valid driver’s license and access to a motor vehicle.
