POSITION: Part-time Certified Community Health Worker (CHW)

Meigs County Health Department (MCHD) seeks a Certified CHW to perform maternal health outreach program services on a part-time basis (30 hours per week Monday through Friday with flexible scheduling to include some weekend and evening work required as assigned). Position will also serve as the Women, Infants, & Children (WIC) Program Breastfeeding Peer and requires the applicant to have breastfed an infant for a minimum of six (6) months and be familiar with the WIC Program. Starting salary is $15.55 per hour with fringe benefit package [vacation leave, sick leave, OPERS retirement, and 9 paid holidays per year.] No health insurance is offered with part-time positions.
