Black Radish Creamery Issues a Voluntary Recall of its Tomato, Butternut Squash, French Onion, and Cream of Tomato Soups for Missing Sub-Ingredients on Label for Cream or Butter which Includes Milk, an Allergen 


Alexandria, Ohio (Feb. 15, 2023) — Black Radish Creamery is issuing a voluntary recall on tomato soup, butternut squash soup, French onion soup, and cream of tomato soup made on any dates in 8 fl. oz. and 16 fl. oz. sizes. Soups were sold frozen in clear plastic cups.


These soups were sold by Black Radish Creamery at:


• The Worthington Farmers Market, Saturdays, Worthington, OH
• Granville Farmers Market, Saturdays, Granville, OH
• Black Radish Creamery Farm Store, 3700 Morse Road Alexandria, OH 43001


The recall is due to not listing sub-ingredients and not declaring allergens on labeled ingredients including butter and cream. These items should be labeled with the allergen warning of containing milk as milk is a major allergen.


No reports of illness involving these products have been reported. Individuals exhibiting signs or symptoms of a foodborne illness, or an allergic reaction should contact a physician immediately. All products should be discarded or returned to Black Radish Creamery for a full refund.
